    Description

    Here is a beautiful
    Red Wing Art Pottery vase glazed in a beautiful mottled teadust glaze they called "Nokomis", one of their best glazes. Probably influenced by the matte green arts & crafts period glazes of Grueby, Walley, or Merrimac Potteries. The pottery was located in Red Wing Minnesota and dates from 1929-1934. Ink stamped with their circular mark and in the mold shape number 208. It measures 10 1/2 inches tall and 6 5/8 inches in diameter at the shoulder. It is in great condition with no chips, cracks, repairs, or firing flaws. A good arts & crafts shape and glaze by a famous mid-western art pottery.
