    Description

    Early Blue Letter Red Wing Stoneware Quart Jar.  Some old flaking off the base only adds to its character and really does nothing to its presentation.  There are also some finger marks on the edges of the glazed base where the pottery held the jar during its formation.  Measures 7" tall with lid by 4 5/8" base.  Strong blue strike with the letter w in stoneware smudged by the maker.  Bid with confidence.  All questions answered promptly.
